What I’m working on

exploring how we work, create, and extend our abilities

About me

With over 15 years in people and culture, I’m curious about the changing nature of work, the processes that will enhance it, and the new intelligence we’re learning to share our work with.

What I'm thinking about...

The Independent Intelligence Worker

How does abundant intelligence change the economics of individual work?

Capacity Expansion

How should organizations think about productivity when intelligence increases capability instead of simply increasing speed?

Human–Intelligence Collaboration

What changes when intelligence becomes something we collaborate with rather than merely use?

WaveForm

About WaveForm

Waveform is a real-time visualization of human effort.

It uses heart rate and sport-specific performance data to translate physical activity into a changing visual form. As effort rises and falls, the waveform responds—reflecting the intensity, rhythm, and progression of the performance as it happens.

Currently focused on cycling, Waveform draws from data such as heart rate, power, cadence, and speed. Together, these signals create a live representation of the relationship between the athlete and their effort.

Waveform explores a different way of experiencing performance data: not only as numbers to measure, but as something visible, expressive, and unique to each moment.

Through the prototype, I’m exploring how non-human Intelligent Labour can compliment Human intelligent labour and extend my abilities across data, code, and visual design—shortening the path from an idea to a working experience. The project brings that exploration to performance data, treating it as something expressive and personal as well as measurable.

About Land of Lakes

Land of Lakes is an in-progress boating and fishing game built as a proof of concept for collaboration between human intelligent labour and non-human intelligent labour. Through the prototype, I’m investigating how these forms of labour can combine to accelerate development, bridge gaps in technical knowledge, and expand what an individual creator can accomplish.
